Born in Istanbul March 20, 1949. Studied high school in Saint- Benoit and Lycee de Galatasaray. Watched "Bolshoi Ballet" perform in San Theater in 1956. In 1959 he watched Charlie Chaplin's "Limelight" several times. Decided to become a dancer.
In 1969, he started ballet at Mme Olga's studio. Performed in the first ballet recital with " A Night in the Bold Mountain"( Mussorgsky). Attended the Academy of Fine Arts in 1971. He joined Istanbul State Opera and Ballet in 1971. Danced in Coppelia, Countess Maritza, Raymonda, Sebastian, Swan Lake, Carmen, Petrushka, La Traviata, Faust.." with the State Ballet.
Founded The Contemporary Ballet Company in 1972. In the June of 1977 graduated from Academy of Fine Arts. In his academic career he became a professor in State Conservatory and educated succesfully dancers.
